Energy Generator Sales offer an extended limited warranty period on all Stephill generators sold by us. This service includes telephone or email support and advice for a period of 24 months following the purchase of your generator.
Your existing Stephill One Year Commercial Warranty
Any new Stephill generator purchased from us is covered by Stephill's standard One Year Commercial Warranty, Please see their website for details.
Your existing Engine Warranty
Any new Stephill generator purchased from us is also covered by an engine warranty - from 1-3 years dependant on engine type.
Energy Generator Sales - Limited Warranty Agreement (Domestic Only)
Important – All Stephill products:
- This limited warranty only covers Stephill generators purchased directly from Energy Generator Sales
- Please try to keep all original packaging and documentation (where applicable)
- Your warranty coverage is continual for a 12 month period following the end of your Stephill commercial warranty, and does not restart at any point
- This limited warranty is valid only when the product receives all necessary preventative maintenance and servicing as described in the relevant User Manual
- This warranty covers Stephill generators used and operated within the UK mainland only
- Our limited extended warranty is in addition to the standard "1 year manufacturer warranty" you receive from Stephill, and any "engine warranty" you receive from the engine manufacturer
Not covered by this Limited Warranty:
- Commercial or For-Profit use (You are covered for commerical and for-profit use for the first 12 months of ownership under Stephill's Manufacturer Warranty, subject to Stephill's terms and conditions)
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage or defects caused by overloading a generator
- Damage or defects to AVRs (Auto Voltage Regulators)
- Damage or defects caused by exceeding the duty cycles the product is designed for (see manual for details of duty cycles)
- Damage or defects caused by a lack of maintenance as described in your user manual
- Damage or defects caused by accidents, impact, improper installation or storage
- Damage or defects caused by water (ingestion, submersion or external water damage)
- Damage or defects or reduced-performance caused by operation in a marine environment
- Damage or defects caused by improper pressure or conditions contrary to the published specification
- Damage or defects due modifications of the product
- Damage or defects caused by items not supplied by Energy Generator Sales or Stephill Generators, such as (but not limited to), filters, wires and accessories
- Damage caused by repairs not completed by Energy Generator Sales or Stephill Generators
- Servicable/consumable items, such as (but not limited to) spark plugs, oil or filters
- Wearing items such as brushes, bearings, hoses, seals, wheels, lances, batteries, cables, blades, trimmer heads and spools, straps, belts, etc
- Damage or defects caused by stale petrol or contaminated fuel
